The Essence: A quaint, quirky corner store/cafe in the heart of leafy West Leederville with simple, freshly prepared food and a sprawling garden.
The Facts: There’s something uniquely charming about a cafe on a residential street, surrounded by homes and gardens, and typically filled with locals. A new addition to leafy West Leederville, Piccolo’s Corner is a quintessential neighbourhood corner deli and cafe. Perfectly restored and cleverly utilised mismatching pieces of antique furniture and objects decorate its tiny, sun-lit interior and sprawling garden. Simple fresh dishes made from local, organic ingredients and available for breakfast and lunch, are complemented by a small selection local take-home products including local fruit and eggs and Italian pantry staples. There’s even an old-fashioned lolly jar counter.
