The Essence: Bright new digs of a Perth fashion institution stocking Australian and international womenswear designer labels that focus on individuality and quality.
The Facts: After a long-time occupancy and several manifestations on King Street, this bastion of understated designer fashion has relocated to the other side of the tracks to the new hip retail hangout of William Street, Northbridge. The new boutique, with its white walls, dark wooden boards and lots of natural light, creates a simple, clean backdrop on which to showcase owner Shantha Cokis’ discerning, complementary edits of the latest from Australian and international labels. The store lets the labels speak for themselves - from the colourful drapery of Gary Bigeni and loose tailoring of Day Birger et Mikkelsen, to the whimsical, feminine Willow pieces and luxurious everyday wear from Bassike.
