The Woodsfolk
The Essence: Amber Clohesy, a connoisseur of things both pretty and practical now has a retail space to showcase her favourite finds.
The Facts: As the lady behind wholesaling company, Down to the Woods, you can imagine Amber Clohesy’s met her fair share of talented designer folk. She’s also a bit of a whiz when it comes to unearthing exciting new labels, so it makes perfect sense for her to venture into the world of retail and share some of her discoveries with the rest of us.
At the pocket-sized Church Street space, you’ll find an ever-changing collection of homewares, gifts, stationary, accessories and other pretty things, sourced from near and far to help inject some loveliness into your home and life. Clohesy’s own popular line of felt products is on display, alongside goodies from a host of other local labels, such as Kip & Co, Ponyrider and Nancybird. You’ll also get an exclusive taste of some international pieces, like the sweet illustrated wall decals from New York’s Shanna Murray, and a range of luxe leather goods by Texan, Noah Marion.
The Find: A make-your-own oilskin bag kit, from English draper Merchant & Mills.
